The Library of Unwritten Books

This is a pretty neat idea that I'd be interested in seeing. Two librarians travel throughout the UK interviewing people they run across asking what they would write a book about if given the opportunity (and talent). The interviews are recorded and made into "mini-books". These "mini-books" are added to The Library of Unwritten Books, which tours various galleries, libraries, and cafes. They've collected more than 400 story ideas with a goal of collecting more than 1,000.

The unwritten books were remarkably moving and rich. It is a wonderful thing to be able to unleash the lives of those we live with but never know. The man walking past me in the park who looked like a lost soul may have just poured out his hopes and memories in this room - fantastic.
