"Harry Potter for grown-ups"

In September, Susanna Clarke will release "Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell". The book is about sorcerers who are hired to fight Napoleon in an alternate Britian in the 1800s. Because the book shares the same British publisher and has a strong magic theme, "Strange & Norrell" is being compared to Harry Potter and has been referred to as "Harry Potter for grown-ups".

If you ask me, I don't think the Harry Potter is just for kids. I've enjoyed the books imensely; however, I am curious about this new series. If Clarke is anywhere near as talented as J.K. Rowling is, I can't wait until her books come out.
