Here we go, proof that the U.N. Oil-for-Food program was about as corrupt as one can get, and that France, Russia, and Germany, our stalwart foes in the battle to depose Saddam, were much more concerned about lining their own pockets than about terrorists, WMDs, or the millions of people living under Saddam's regime.

It still amazes me that any intelligent, learned human can support the United Nations, other than those who are lined up at the trough with Kofi Anan et al. This is an entity that has proven itself to be a bloated, useless organization in so many respects that the many calls to boot them out of their mostly-free headquarters in New York are justified. Let them move to France. The only people who would miss them are the 5 star restaurants where they take their meals while discussing problems like those annoying poor, hungry people all over the world.
