No kidding!

Today I had run home for lunch (I usually eat in my office) and, when I returned to work, I found a large group of people and several police downstairs. Naturally curious, I asked someone what was going on. Sure enough, Laura Bush drove right past us with a wave and a dazzling smile. What a pleasant surprise!

She was here endorsing David Vitter, who is the lone Republican candidate for one of Louisiana's U.S. Senate seats. I had heard she was here but I thought she was down in southern Louisiana (David Vitter is from the New Orleans area).

Well now, I've got my buzz for the week :-).
