When I decided to take up knitting, it wasn't so that I could knit this:


The Uterus Doll
This is one of those times when you have to ask, "What was she thinking?" This is what she was thinking:

My interest in anatomy coupled with the Blythe dolls phenomenon somehow combined in my imagination to produce a cute, cuddly uterus doll.

Did she say cute and cuddly? When I think of things that are cute and cuddly, the furthest thing from my mind is cuddling up to a uterus. And if you check out the link for the Blythe doll, you'll find that that doll is pretty darned freaky, too.
